IHLAQ has an in-app system for you to track your upcoming bookings and your past bookings. To view your entire booking history, open IHLAQ and click the ‘BOOKINGS’ icon for an overview of all your bookings.
If you turn your notifications on in the settings, you will get a reminder of your appointment beforehand.
Once your appointment has ended, you will be asked to rate your barber and write a review.
You are allowed to book one month in advance and no later than 30 minutes before the appointment.
Yes, you can book multiple services in one booking.
A barber has 3 hours during this working hours to accept or decline a booking. If the barber does not respond within 3 hours, the booking will automatically be cancelled.
Discount codes can be applied upon checkout in the ‘PROMO CODE’ box.
Although we strongly encourage you to pay online, you can select ‘CASH ON SERVICE’
and pay at the barbershop with cash.
The processing IHLAQ service fee depend on how much money the customer pays. Below are the service fees:

No, IHLAQ does not charge the barbers at any time. We have created this application simply to empower barbers and ensure they receive the recognition they deserve.
In order to maintain IHLAQ and ensure the perfect user experience, we need to charge a service fee so we can continuously make IHLAQ better.
Yes, on the IHLAQ app you can get a digital invoice from your booking once it has been completed.
You can delay your appointment by 30 minutes only if the barber is available. In your booking, there is a ‘DELAY’ option. Click ‘DELAY’ and select a time up to 30 minutes after the original booking time. If the barber is unavailable, you will have to cancel the booking or contact us on 6660 6710 .
Yes, you can cancel a booking anytime up until 3 hours before the booking. Any cancellations within 3 hours of the booking will result in a 10QAR surcharge.
Yes, you will receive a full refund if the barber has declined your booking.
Barbers can decline bookings if they are unavailable during that time or if they have existing appointments that have been delayed. They can also decline a booking in the event of an emergency.
Yes, there is an option for you to select home service if the barber provides it. Then you can enter the location where you would like your service. It can be a home or an office. The barber offers an additional fee for this service.
You will be asked to enter the location details when making the booking.

Yes, you can get banned for the following:
- If you choose to pay ‘CASH ON SERVICE’ and then fail to attend your appointment without cancellation
- Do not comply with IHLAQ’s rules and regulations
- Rude to barbers
- Violate IHLAQ terms and conditions
You can see on the map in IHLAQ the location of the barbershop. If you click on the map, it will ask you if you want directions via your maps app to the location.

To access your profile, open IHLAQ app and click the profile icon. Select “Personal information” and make your edits.
Open IHLAQ app and click the profile icon. Select the “Edit Service” button. In this area you will be able to select the services you offer, edit their prices and timings, and add descriptions if you desire When you scroll to the bottom, you’ll be able to turn on/off the “home service” as well as change the price. Home service fees are the fees you take for leaving your salon and taking transportation – the client still pays for your services. Click save after you are done.
Yes. To edit your profile information, open IHLAQ app and click the profile icon. Select the “Edit Barber Profile” button. This is where you can upload images, edit the description of your profile, list your languages spoken and connect to Instagram.
During certain times, the booking fee is lower because IHLAQ is running a promotion or a discount for customers when booking through the application. Sometimes, we will offer discounts to encourage more clients to book your services with you. IHLAQ will cover the cost of the discount and you will receive your normal prices at the end of the month.

In order for customers to find you, IHLAQ spends a great deal of money on marketing. IHLAQ must also pay bank fees when customers pay by credit card. To cover marketing, employee expenses, bank fees, and the costs of maintaining and perfecting the mobile app, IHLAQ charges a small fee to the customer.
At the end of each month, IHLAQ team will check the number of cash bookings and the money you already have. IHLAQ team will also check the number of credit card bookings and how much money we have. The cash will be delivered in the first couple of days of the following month if IHLAQ owes you any money. If you owe us money, IHLAQ team will come and collect our processing fees.
IHLAQ is continuously developing new ways for you to earn extra income. One of our ideas is to hold a competition in which the barber with the most bookings and 5-stars will be rewarded with 1,000 QAR. We also have the idea to award you money every time you bring in a new barber or customer. These ideas are still to be finalised.
You don’t have to pay anything to use our application. The same amount as you charge in your salon will be given to you by IHLAQ.
Due to COVID, customers feel safer and more comfortable when they make payments online. We cover the bank fees of all card payments paid on the app.
Ensure your current customers give you a 5 star rating; the more 5 stars you have, the more people will see you on the app and book you. You can also ask your current walk-in clients to download the app and save you as their favorite barber so they can book you again.
As long as you’re still available, we recommend that you continue with the booking. Whenever you are busy, just ask them to wait and then click the “REPORT DELAY” link in the app.
If the customer does not arrive, find the booking on the app and report it by selecting “CUSTOMER DIDN’T COME.”
The method to do this would be to find the booking and click the “CANCEL” button, letting the customer know you are no longer available.

Barbers can be banned if they either receive many complaints from customers, violate Qatar’s health standards or fail to pay their processing fees to IHLAQ.
